How long have you been a member of Barbell Club?

I will have one year in October as a member of Barbell Club.

Had you done CrossFit before joining? If so, for how long?

I had not tried either CrossFit or Weightlifting prior to starting with Sequoia CrossFit.

What inspired you to join Barbell Club?

I had been watching videos of weightlifting and it seemed really fun and hard at the same time. I am really drawn to the discipline of the movements.

What is your favorite WOD and why?

The workouts are pretty varied but all are centered with elements of the snatch and clean and jerk.

What is your favorite movement and why?

Now, it is the snatch. I used to get frustrated with it because my body did not want to bend into position but after a year I now feel comfortable with it and can appreciate it more.

What is your favorite indulgence (type of food, drink, or....you know)?

Pizza. Food in perfection.
