How long have you been a member of Sequoia CrossFit?

Just over a year.

Had you done CrossFit before joining? If so, for how long?

Not at all. I have some cousins who did CrossFit in Santa Cruz and I always thought it was kinda of intense. I was right, but it’s been great.

What inspired you to join Sequoia CrossFit?

My wife was looking to train for a job and needed to get back in shape. She found Sequoia and I came to intro class and was hooked. The Community here makes it so that you don’t ever want to leave after a WOD.

What is your favorite WOD and why?

Anything really (yes, even box jumps). That’s what I like about CrossFit. No workout is ever the same. And even if it is, it’s always fun competing against your previous results and getting a new PR. I will say that Sunday WODs are my favorite, only because I usually get to come up with something awful.

What is your favorite movement and why?

Deadlifts. It’s simple and you can move a lot of weight.

What is your favorite indulgence (type of food, drink, or….you know)?

Anything sweet.
